Andrey Gradetchliev was born in Sofia in 1967. He visited the \u201cIlija Petrov\u201c High school of Fine Arts and later studied at the National Academy of Fine Arts in Sofia where he received his diploma in 1995.
\nHe got a scholarship from the \u201eDeutschen Akademischen Austauschdienst\u201c and spent one year in Worpswede, Germany. For five years he was head of the painting and sculpture workshop at the \u201cSt\u00e4dtebundtheater\u201c in Hof (Bavaria). Since 2001 he is working as a freelancing artist, drawer, graphic designer and lecturer in Oldenburg (Oldb). In 2005 he assisted Soll LeWitt in Brussels and St. Gallen.<\/p>\n
